Experience

Rosalie DiFlora is an Associate (Pending July 2022 NYS Bar Examination Results) at Goetz Fitzpatrick with the Construction Litigation Group.

Rosalie gained a passion for construction law prior to attending law school. While in college, she interned alongside in-house counsel for a large international contracting company. Rosalie continued this internship throughout college, and in law school went on to earn her Construction Project Management Certification, authorized by Columbia University. Currently, she is a member of Professional Women in Construction.

Prior to joining Goetz Fitzpatrick, Rosalie worked for a major railroad company where she defended management’s position in arbitrations and negotiated claim settlements with various labor unions. While there, she ensured employee compliance with FRA & COVID-19 corporate regulations, communicated often with craft employees and project managers, and led internal trainings to aid employees in negotiation and litigation tactics.

At St. John’s University School of Law, she was the Articles & Notes Editor for the N.Y. Real Property Law Journal and Director of Outreach for Women’s Law Society. Also, Rosalie was the recipient of the SAME New York City Post Construction Scholarship and the Coca-Cola Enterprises Scholarship for Excellence in Labor and Employment Law. Before law school, she attended Binghamton University where she graduated a full year early as a double major.
