Experience
Anas’s practice focuses on commercial and appellate litigation in state and federal courts.
A born-and-bred New Yorker, he is a graduate of The Browning School, an independent high school on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, and of Baruch College, City University of New York, where he double-majored in Economics and Political Science. After college, he served for four years as Assistant to New York City Comptroller Scott M. Stringer.
At the University of Michigan Law School, he interned in its Unemployment Litigation Clinic, where he successfully argued before an administrative law judge, and in its Federal Appellate Litigation Clinic, where he represented an appellant in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Before joining Goetz, he clerked for the Honorable Larry D. Martin, former Presiding Justice of the Commercial Division of the New York State Supreme Court, Kings County, and the Honorable Troy K. Webber, Associate Justice of the Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court, First Department.
